Within the framework of the solidTES technological development as an energy storage technology, CADE has a demonstrator prototype of its monolit-e application in its Innovation Factory located in Albacete, Spain.
Monolit-e is an energy storage solution in the form of heat based on solid materials, specially designed for integrating various renewable electrical sources and providing heat for industrial use.
The monolit-e prototype, operational since early 2024, can store up to 400 kWh of energy in the form of heat from a 75 kW electrical source. This industrial prototype allows for modular experiments and assessments of materials, powers, and capacities.
The design of the monolit-e industrial prototype enables the simulation of diverse scenarios, real-time data analysis, and validation of designs for future scaling and integration into the real industrial environment of monolit-e and megalit-e at CADE.
